Omni Soap

Packaging Design & Environmental Design

This project was created for Omni, a vanilla-based soap designed to break into four ready-to-use pieces—each with its own complementary fragrance note. The concept focuses on turning a simple daily ritual into a luxurious and transportive experience. Drawing inspiration from Moroccan hammams, I developed a visual identity that evokes a sense of escape and self-care.

Overview

The packaging design features a distinctive teardrop pattern inspired by traditional Moroccan tile work, paired with a warm and harmonious color palette to differentiate each fragrance. The tactile, elegant look reinforces the product’s premium, sensory nature.

To extend the brand experience into a retail environment, I designed a Moroccan-inspired point-of-purchase display for Nordstrom. The display is styled as a miniature bathroom vanity, complete with a sink and shelf, echoing the architectural and cultural cues found in Moroccan design. This immersive setup invites customers to engage with the product in a personal and meaningful way while enhancing its shelf presence.

Problem To Solve

How can we design both the packaging and point-of-purchase display for Omni Quad Soap to highlight its unique selling proposition—a vanilla-based soap bar that breaks into four ready-to-use pieces—while emphasizing sustainability, encouraging trial in a premium retail environment like Nordstrom, and standing out in an oversaturated personal care market?

Point of Purchase Display Solution

The goal is to offer customers something beyond just soap—an experience that feels personal, luxurious, and transportive in a competitive personal care market. To encourage trial and create a memorable first impression, I designed an environmental point of purchase display that transports customers into a Moroccan-style bathroom setting. Drawing from architectural elements like arches and decorative tiles, the display evokes the feeling of a serene, exotic retreat. Hanging cloud forms add a whimsical, dreamy element above eye level, capturing attention from a distance and enhancing the immersive experience. The structure balances strong visual impact with practical product storage, encouraging interaction and discovery. This display creates a distinct “moment” within the retail space—inviting customers to pause, explore, and engage with Omni Quad Soap in a way that transforms an everyday item into an indulgent escape.
